General Account Services

Where can I purchase Aion account services?

You can purchase them at the Aion web shop, Black Cloud Marketplace™.

1. Go to the Account Services section on Aiononline.com (above).
2. Select the Aion service that you'd like to purchase.
3. Click Buy Now.
4. Once you’ve successfully purchased the services, the items will be delivered to your character via in-game express mail. Please note this excludes the Server Transfer service. (See paid Character Transfer below for more information.)
5. For the Name Change, Gender Switch, Legion Name Change, and Character Customization services, you will be able to make and apply changes to your account directly on the Black Cloud Marketplace. Again, please note that this excludes the Paid Character Transfer service.

How much does each of the Aion account services cost?

Account services items can only be purchased with NCoin™. (What is NCoin?) The current cost for each service is:

• Character transfer: Item is currently unavailable.
• Character customization: 320 NCoin
• Gender change: 320 NCoin
• Character name change: 640 NCoin
• Legion name change: 960 NCoin

Can I trade, sell, or store an Aion account services digital ticket in game?
No, the tickets cannot be traded, sold, or stored in one's account or Legion warehouse, so be sure that you apply them to the correct character.

Can I buy an account service and use it later? Will the in-game items expire?
Purchase of a character name change, a Legion name change, a gender change, or a character customization account service gives one digital ticket to the selected character. The ticket can be stored in your character's inventory and used at your leisure. The character transfer account service is requested when you pay for that account service and does not involve an in-game digital ticket. You are not obligated to use it at time of purchase, however, and can save it for later. (Special offers, such as free server transfers, may have additional restrictions that prevent long-term delay of use.)

Can I cancel the use of my in-game ticket before I apply the changes?
Yes, at any point before you confirm the changes to your character's name, Legion name, gender, or the selected character customization, you can cancel the process and keep your ticket.

Once I pay for a character transfer and apply it to my character, can I cancel the transfer service before the character is transferred, get a refund, and have my character remain on its original server?

No, you cannot cancel your character transfer once you apply it.

Character Customization

Where do I go to redeem my Plastic Surgery Ticket?
If your character is an Elyos, go to the city of Sanctum and visit Maenia, Daeva of Appearance, in the Angelic Frippery. If your character is an Asmodian, go to Pandaemonium and visit Himingleva, Daeva of Appearance, in the Angelic Frippery. You can also visit these NPCs and preview new possible character looks without a Plastic Surgery Ticket.

Paid Character Transfer

When you purchase the Paid CharacterTransfer service on Black Cloud Marketplace, we will guide you, step by step, through the entire process:

1. Go to the Account Services section on Aiononline.com (above).
2. Click Buy Now on the Paid Character Transfer banner.
3. Log in to your NCsoft Account.
4. Select the character that you wish to transfer.
5. Select the server that you wish to transfer to.
6. Verify that the character you selected meets the eligibility requirements and restrictions to transfer to another server.
7. Check User Agreement box to confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions stated.
8. Click Buy Now.
9. Once you’ve successfully purchased the Character Transfer service, your character will be queued to be processed for transfer.

Are there server caps in place to protect server populations?
Yes, faction-based server caps are in place on transfers. When you try to purchase a character transfer, your character’s transfer eligibility is checked. You are then offered a selection of destination servers based on your character’s eligibility and current server populations.

How long does it take to transfer a character?

Once you have selected a server and paid for your transfer, your character is queued to be processed within 24 to 48 hours, and will be transferred during the next weekly maintenance.

How much does a paid character transfer cost?
Paid character transfers are temporarily unavailable for purchase until further notice.

Where do I purchase a paid character transfer?

This item is currently not available for purchase. You can purchase a paid character transfer from the Black Cloud Marketplace once it becomes available.

Character Name Change

How do I use my Name Change Ticket?

Log in to the game on the selected character and open the in-game express mail that contains your Name Change Ticket. Add the item to your character's inventory and double-click it. Once you've double-clicked the ticket, you'll be prompted to enter a new character name. If that character name is available and meets the game's name requirements and restrictions, it is changed immediately and permanently.

How will my friends know that I've changed my character name?

Each character name change is tracked and displayed in the Shadow Court Archives and updated on your friends' lists. In this way, everyone is able to see the change in game and out of game.

I mistyped my character name. Can I revert the change?
You can preview your new character name before you apply the change. Once the change is submitted and applied, it is permanent, so please be careful when entering your new name. You can purchase and use another Name Change Ticket to change it again.

Are there any restrictions on how often I can purchase a character name change?
You can purchase up to three Name Change Tickets per month.

Gender Change

Can I customize my character's appearance when I change my character's gender?
Yes. When you purchase a gender change, it changes your character's gender and also allows you to customize that character's appearance in all the same ways that you can when you make a new character.

Where do I go to redeem my Gender Switch Ticket?
If your character is an Elyos, go to the city of Sanctum and visit Euripides, the Daeva of Life Transformation, in a tavern in the Outer Dock. If your character is an Asmodian, go to Pandaemonium and visit Jotunmodr, Daeva of Life Transformation, in the back alleys of the Pandaemonium Plaza. You can also visit these NPCs and preview new possible character looks without a Gender Switch Ticket.

Legion Name Change

Can any character change a Legion's name?
No, only Legion leaders can use a Legion Name Change Ticket to change the name of a Legion, and they can only change a Legion that they lead.

How do I use my Legion Name Change Ticket?
Log in to the game on the selected Legion leader character and open the in-game express mail that contains your Legion Name Change Ticket.
