Please post your specs and what kind of fps you are getting in highly populated areas.

e8400

4 gig ddr2

Win7

9800gx2

I get 40-65 fps in high populated areas with everything maxed. I feel I should be getting higher then that with my setup.

What are you getting?

There are new nvidia drivers out that you might want to check out. Now are those fps in pand?

 I have 9800gtx+

6gbddr3

i7920

I have basically the same fps as you, I would say. Does Aion support dual gfx cards? that could be the issue, as the 9800gx2 is at its heart two 9800gtx+'s. that could explain the issue.

also, the e8400 seems like the obttleneck of your system, that could be it.

Getting around 60-85fps depending on where I'm at.  I haven't crashed in any heavily crowded areas like some people have so I'm hoping that I'm not susceptible to crysys.dll error that everyone with a high-end system seems to be getting.

I get around 65-85fps depending on the concentration of people in the screen.  I haven't crashed anywhere where there might've been too many people for the game, so I'm hoping that I'm not susceptible to that crysys.dll error everyone with a high-end system seems to be getting.

Aion should be supporting them as of recently with the new drivers pushing sli.

the e8400 is a pretty good cpu seeings how aion does not support multi core....

Intel Q6600  OC 3.0 GHz

4 GB DDR2

9800gtx+

Windows 7 64-bit

65-75 FPS in the High Population areas

Max Graphics Settings

I've heard that there is a glitch somewhere in the system that causes the crashes. Something about causing issues with the memory and pushing it over the limits. Haven't seen the exact cause or fix for the problem yet.

Interesting I get same fps in heavy areas and Im running Win 7 64bit , Core i7, 12gb ram, dual NVidia GTX 280 in SLI - running at max settings at 1920x1080 - outside the heavy pop areas I can crank out huge fps - seen around 200...

appears there might be some kind of frame limiting in cities - espicially as I know there is a graphics bug with the CryEngine

Per NCSoft  "The development team is aware of the various CryEngine-related DLL crashes. This means that they're now working to get this resolved as quickly as they can. The resolution will likely be implemented as an upcoming patch for the game in the near future. "

Also I've never been able to save my graphics settings have to reset them every time also trying to determine the difference between 4x and 8x AA doesnt appear to effect FPS or visual appeal...

this is my operating system until i get my new graphics card

Intel core 2 quad

Q6600 - 2.40ghz 4 processors

nvidia 7350 Le 128    (going to get a nvidia 250 gts)

3g Ram

CPU speed of 2400 MHZ

Windows Vista 32 bit

Frame Rates range from 30 - 40 but when in city drops to 30 - 35 sumtimes less

My resolution ingame is everything Low 800 by 600 very low settings to keep 30 - 40 fps

my actual screen size max is 1280 by 1024

i have a hunch of why i get low fps ingame. correct me if im wrong but it's my graphics card that is having a hard time struggling.

I would like to know - is it a wise choice to go for the 250 gts 1g bfg. will that reduce my lag and allow me to raise my settings to max?
