We've been through a lot together over the last year, but the winds of change are blowing in my life, and the time has come to say goodbye. Today is my last day at NCSOFT. It's been a wild ride, and one that has been full of excitement, success, and all around happiness. I'm ever-grateful to NCSOFT for giving me the opportunity to serve you. It's been a positive and transformative experience that I'll never forget.
I'm writing you today not as an employee of NCSOFT, but as a fellow Daeva and friend. It dawned on me over the last week how lucky I am to have had something that makes saying goodbye so difficult. The support that I've received this week through private messages, public forum posts, and even phone calls (from a resourceful few of you) has touched me personally. For that, I'd like to express a heart felt thanks.
Now that the mushy stuff is out of the way, I'd like to recap the first year of Aion by taking a look back at the accomplishments we've had as a team. Most notably, we've made significant changes that based on your feedback has made Aion a better game for all our loyal players. I've been proud to be part of the team that has advocated for these changes, and I'm happy to report that you've only begun to see what's in store for the future of Aion. I can't expound upon about what's incoming, but I'll be with you in-game to experience those beneficial updates as they transpire.
To close, I'd like to reiterate the honor it's been to be part of this team, and part of your lives. If you want to stay in touch, or live through me vicariously, follow my personal Twitter, which I promise to update with funniness more frequently! Until we meet again
Fly high, Daevas!
