Rifting Trial Update

Greetings, Daevas!

In early December, we started a rifting trial focused on adjusting the protection for defenders in their homelands. The protection for defenders in Heiron and Beluslan was removed. The protection of defenders in Morheim and Eltnen was kept in place, but lowered.

Before the holidays, we surveyed players in-game regarding the trial changes. The survey responses showed:

The majority of players agreed with having a change to the large protective buffs put in place in for rifting.

The majority of players agreed with having the

We are extending the rifting trial a few more weeks. You have told us that lower level characters could use a bit more protection, and so we are planning to slightly increase the amount of protection for defending characters in Morheim and Eltnen.

Near the end of the trial, we will again survey you (our players) to gauge your opinions on the changes introduced in this rifting trial. We then plan to return the rifting protections back to their previous levels, analyze your responses, and communicate with you about what plans are in regards to rifting and the protection for defenders.

Thank you so much for your participation, interest, and feedback throughout this process.

Free and Manual Transfer Reminder

Hello Daevas,

Free transfers using the character transfer account service ended today. (That service is transitioning to a paid service.) However, you can still put in a character transfer request for a manual transfer if you meet the criteria.

Just to clarify, these manual transfers are free and not part of the paid transfer service. We are now manually transferring players who meet the set criteria, rather than giving everyone a free transfer ticket. Free tickets have the potential to upset the already delicate server balance we are trying to get a handle on. Had we used them, we would have ended with long and frustrating transfer queues for ALL of the players looking to move.
