Aion® 2.1 Part 2 PowerWiki Updates

As the Aion® 2.1 part 2 update goes live, we are working diligently on the Powerwiki to update it to reflect the changes the patch includes. We plan to implement those changes in the Powerwiki by the end of this week. After the Powerwiki is updated, the Aion® Exchange™ app will include the updated correct information and proper names.

Aion® 2.1 Part 2 Patch Heads to Live!

2.1 Part 2 Patch go live on live servers tomorrow, January 26, during our regularly scheduled weekly maintenance. The focus of this patch is crafting changes. You can read a full list of the changes in the Aion 2.1 Part 2 Release Notes. Just a few highlights of 2.1 Part 2:

Reduced the quantities of materials needed to make 593 Elyos and 593 Asmodian kinds of crafted weapons, armor, and accessories of level 45-55.

Increased the drop rates of crafting materials, including Balic materials dropped by the Balaur.

Increased the chance of gathering rarer/more powerful materials from specific resource nodes.

Added a new Fortune Pet, the Headstrong Poroco, and added new rewards to Fortune pets.

Balaur now take over Kysis Fortress in the Abyss during normal siege times.

Atreia's Artisan Expo event begins tomorrow, January 26, and runs through February 2. During the Expo, craftspeople of Atreia can join in on a weeklong event featuring accelerated crafting, essencetapping, and aethertapping.

Update 2.1 Part 2 Release Notes

The Aion® 2.1 Part 2 update has been pushed to the North American and European Union test servers (PTS). The update focuses on crafting in Aion, so craftspeople, start your looms and get ready at your anvils! Read details in the 2.1 Part 2 patch release notes.

Patch 2.1 Part 2 is scheduled to head to our live servers on Wednesday, January 26, and the Atreia's Artisan Expo event begins January 26 and runs through February 2. During the Expo, craftspeople of Atreia can join in on a week-long event featuring accelerated crafting, essencetapping, and aethertapping.


Name Changes in 2.1 Part 2

Greetings Daevas!

In update 2.1 part 2, we changed the names of some items in Aion. You'll notice these changes when the update hits the live servers. These changes are a small step toward simplifying the naming system for crafted items. You can look up what's changed by referring to this table.

Please note that these changes are primarily for the English language. French and German languages are following their own unique naming schemes and only minor changes have been made.
