Paid Character Transfer Queue Reset October 05, 2011

Greetings Daevas!

We will be resetting the Paid Transfer Queue for North American servers on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. PDT (more).

Though we will be resetting the queues, the caps for both origin and destination servers are very small and will not accommodate a large number of transfers. We wish to offer a chance for players to move, however we must also protect the health of our servers.

However, due to the limited capacity, we anticipate these available transfer slots to fill up very quickly. We do not recommend trying to transfer as a group or a Legion to another server; you will be separated from your friends as the caps are met.

64-Bit Client to be Removed October 19, 2011 for Further Testing and Development

Greetings Daevas!

Wednesday, October 19, 2011 during normal server maintenance, the 64-bit client will be removed. The 64-bit client will be removed from PTS on October 12, 2011. At this time, we do not support this version of the client in any of our territories. This unsupported version will be removed until it is a completed version that we are ready to support.

This requires no action on your part. Currently, if you have not manually modified your client, you have been using the 32-bit client, this will not change. After the maintenance, your client will patch and the 64-bit client files will be removed. You can then immediately launch the game normally with the supported 32-bit client.

We understand that some players have successfully used the 64-bit client by modifying their current client folders. If you have done this, please right-click Aion in the NCSOFT Launcher and select "Repair (Consistency Check)" to ensure that your client is working correctly. As future patches update the game, the 64-bit version will not be updated because it is not ready for use. Having an unsupported and untested version available has caused problems for many players who try to use it unsuccessfully. Our tech support is unable to assist players with this version, and for this reason it will be removed until it is ready for release as a fully supported and tested version.

We do not currently have an ETA on when it will be available for use across all of our territories.
