Greetings Daevas,

Alas, the heat of summer has dwindled and our scorching heat event has ended. If you still have scorching heat items in your inventory, you can still turn them in to the summer NPCs for those cool boxes full of surprises.

Last week, we highlighted some of the great guides the Aion PowerWiki team has been creating for the content from Aion®: Assault on Balaurea™. This week, we have one more to add to the mix: the Udas Temple Guide. Keep your eye out for a forthcoming guide featuring Lower Udas Temple.

The Factions and Lore of Balaurea

Greetings Daevas!

Aion: Assault of Balaurea saw the light of day across European and North American servers roughly one month ago. Two new video podcasts should come in very handy for those of you discovering the myriads of new content, or simply looking to brush up on your Balaurea knowledge.

The first Aion Podcast introduces you to the three new factions in Aion: Assault on Balaurea, and investigates the expansion's two new lower-level instances: Harimel and Kromede's Trial.

Assault on Balaurea's lore builds from the events of Atreia's history and earlier campaign quest storylines, and this is an aspect touched upon by our second …

Greetings Daevas,

This week brought the end of our one-year anniversary event. If you still have cake tickets in your inventory, the cake is now a lie. However, you still have one more week to score that hot swimsuit and penguin attire as Scorching Heat of Summer is still cooking until October 13.

We also released a sneak peek at the Korean patch notes for Aion 2.1 that hit the Korean PTS this week. We would love to hear your thoughts on it.

The PowerWiki team has been hard at work putting up new informational articles, including pieces on the In-Game Guide (IGG) Surveys and on the Chantra Dredgion. If you haven't gotten a chance to check it out, the In-Game Guide Surveys article highlights the level thresholds for the surveys that you receive in-game and the items that will assist you in your adventures in Aion.

Highlight of the Week

This week instead of focusing on a question, we want to highlight a topic that has been brought up in our community: How does as a faction improve cooperation? This topic can be crucial for those who are trying to build their faction's community on a server or to reach out and grow as a Legion. One particular post relating to this topic caught our eyes this past week.

Roxane from Zikel has spearheaded an effort at increasing positive and productive cooperation among Asmodians on Zikel. We thought Roxane had some great ideas for improving cooperation and cultivating a constructive atmosphere for the community on Zikel. We want to recognize her initiative. Great job, Roxane!
