A Call for Spies and Soldiers!

Greetings, Daevas!

Starting Wednesday, March 16, 2011 after maintenance, two events begin: a rifting event and an Abyss Point event.

"Behind Enemy Lines" Rifting Event

This rifting event continues until March 30, 2011 and will end at maintenance. During this rifting event, we'll remove the defensive buffs in Heiron and Beluslan. The defensive buffs will remain in place in Eltnen and Morheim.

[UPDATED] Due to such a positive response to the 'Behind Enemy Lines' rifting event we have decided to extend it a further week, this will allow returning players over the reactivation period to experience the event. The event now ends at maintenance on March 30, 2011.

Fortune Fayre

Welcome, one and all!

The travelling Fortune Fayre (not related to the Fortuneers) has come to Sanctum/Pandaemonium for this year's Fortune Festival! They're inviting all Daevas to test their providence with brand new, aether-imbued Charm Cards! What will Fate hand the Asmodian Kindred? Will the cards help the Elyos better understand their past? One thing's for sure: you're not going to find out sitting there on your winged hiney, so come along and see what Aion has in store for you!

No refunds.

The Fortune Fayre, which takes place from Wednesday March 9th, 2011 to Wednesday March 23rd, 2011, marks the time of year when a motley crew of Fayrefolk descends on the capital cities and encourages Daevas to try their luck in games of chance. Who will be influencing your destiny in the year to come—will it be one of the Empyrean Lords, or, perhaps, Aion himself? Maybe your fate is cursed by the Dragon Lord Beritra? Only the Fayrefolk can tell you.

Eye on Community — February 2011

Greetings Daevas,

In this month in Eye on Community, we bring you interviews with Hayate of Urtem and the Another Cold Day Legion, an article on the Atreian Stock Market, and a look at fashion accessories in the Master Craft segment. You can also get a player's perspective of the Love to the Rescue and Vanity Fayre live events through screenshots. And by the way, a big "grats" again to the winners of Vanity Fayre: Season One!

This month we're also hosting Gateway Getaway and Double XP events. For two weeks, we open new entrances to the Chambers of Roah, Asteria Chambers, Kysis Chamber, Mieren Chambers, and Abyssal Splinter. These entrances in Reshanta are at Primum (Asmodian) and Teminon (Elyos). Now you can try several fortress instances regardless of faction ownership and level up more quickly if you haven't gotten to 55 to run the fortresses.

Have fun, and see you in-game!
