Two-Year Anniversary Celebration

Greetings, Daevas!

Our two-year anniversary is right around the corner, and we have set up some celebratory activities for you to enjoy.

We want everyone to be able to participate in the fun, so all accounts in good standing will be reactivated for our two week-long celebration. Reactivation surveys with anniversary gifts from us to you will arrive daily!

First, during this anniversary period, we'll be turning on Double Drops and Double XP. This doubling is true doubling that is not scaled based on your level. Grind those mobs, run those instances, do those dailies—and watch your XP bar and your inventory fill up twice as fast!

Second, we are running the Ascension Festival event. Every 20 minutes that you're logged in, your character gets an Ascension Energy token that you can trade in for rewards. Use them to get costumes, fun weapon skins, and mystery gifts that can give you dyes and candies.

Third, we are going to celebrate daily on the forums with contests and giveaways. We will be giving away White, Black, and Pink Dyes, Fall Uniforms (Uptown Apparel), and sailor outfits (Mini Dress Blues and Whites). You can join in the fun daily every morning and afternoon during the event. Don't miss it!

Finally, the Picking Up the Past event continues during our Two-Year Anniversary Celebration. That means this increases the drop rates for those Insect Fossils too!

Join in as we celebrate Aion becoming two years old!

Picking Up The Past Update

Greetings Daevas,

We wanted to help clarify the Picking Up the Past surveys. They will be going out at 12:00 p.m. PDT / 3:00 p.m. EDT.

You must collect the survey on a daily basis as they do not stack. You can collect it anytime after the survey goes live (which gives you about 24 hours). You can also only claim them once per server. So make sure you collect them on the correct character.

Paid Character Transfer Queue Reset September 07, 2011

Greetings Daevas!

We will be resetting the Paid Transfer Queue for North American servers on Wednesday, September 07, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. PDT (more).

Though we will be resetting the queues, the caps for both origin and destination servers are very small and will not accommodate a large number of transfers. We wish to offer a chance for players to move, however we must also protect the health of our servers.

However, due to the limited capacity, we anticipate these available transfer slots to fill up very quickly. We do not recommend trying to transfer as a group or a Legion to another server; you will be separated from your friends as the caps are met.

What led you to play Aion?
My wife and I originally played Guild Wars®, but we were looking for something different. A few of our friends were playing the beta version of Aion and told us how amazing it was. Once Aion was released, we checked it out and saw the amazing graphics and customizing options available in the game. I also liked that the characters looked like real people and not cartoons. The game play was great and the quests were fun. We were instantly attracted to the UI, the skill bar set-up, the animations, and the ability to really make your character your own. The many options and improvements in these areas far exceeded what we were used to in other games.
