First Sematariux Kill in the West!

We interviewed Mortred, who lead the first victory against Sematariux, read below to find out more about the battle!

Which legions were involved? How many people total?

Many Legions were involved in this raid. We were more concerned about earning the first North American Sematariux kill than we were about forming an elitist group of only certain Legions. As long as people had a certain gear requirement, could understand English on Ventrilo, and were competent players, they were allowed to sign up for the raid, if their class wasn't full.

Atreian Stock Market Report — October 2011

Greetings, Daevas!

This is Luichinchinnerk from the Black Cloud News Network with your October analysis of Atreia's stock market.

Prices for the most commonly traded commodities are still down, as the influx from the Double Drop Rate event continues to work its way through the market.

The first items we will look at today are Gold and Silver medals. Generally, the prices of these medals remain stable due to their nature; however, this month has seen a slight dip in value. This shugo feels that although the prices for medals are lower than normal, this is not an indication to invest heavily in medals, as the potential for profits is at best marginal.

In good news for crafters and morphers, the price of Magical Aether has dropped significantly over the past month. Despite its lower than normal price, Aether remains a valuable commodity that will continue to sell briskly.

Finally, this is the time to buy end game scrolls such as Greater Running scrolls. Because of the number of scrolls brought by the Pumpkin King, scroll prices have plummeted to record lows. Take advantage of these great prices while they last!

As always, Luichinchinnerk reminds you that Daevas who
play the stock market take a risk. This bear market might
seem like the perfect time to buy, but a Daeva
could still end up with NYERK! Akakakakakak!

Player of the Month — October 2011

Name: Ullona
Server: Vaizel (NA)
Faction: Elyos
Legion: Infusion
Class: Sorcerer
Level: 55

When did you start playing Aion?
I've always been a bit of a graphics nerd, so when someone told me about Aion back when it was still in beta in Korea, I went straight to YouTube and saw a lot of the conceptual videos. The graphics had me hooked, so I continued to watch as the game progressed in development.

Paid Character Transfer Queue Reset November 02, 2011

Greetings Daevas!

We will be resetting the Paid Transfer Queue for North American servers on Wednesday, November 02, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. PDT (more).

Though we will be resetting the queues, the caps for both origin and destination servers are very small and will not accommodate a large number of transfers. We wish to offer a chance for players to move, however we must also protect the health of our servers.

However, due to the limited capacity, we anticipate these available transfer slots to fill up very quickly. We do not recommend trying to transfer as a group or a Legion to another server; you will be separated from your friends as the caps are met.

Harvest Revel October 26th, 2011

Greetings, Daevas!

An autumnal chill is in the air, so head to Sanctum and Pandaemonium for the Harvest Revel! A smooth glass of pumpkin ale will surely keep the cold at bay for a little while longer.

Mysterious witches have been spotted in town, but don't worry—we're about 73% sure they're harmless. In fact, they might even have tasks for Daevas with a little time on their hands. Funny, nobody seems to have seen the Pumpkin King around this year. Wonder why that is…?

The Harvest Revel runs from Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 to Wednesday, November 9th, 2011, and is a celebration of spooky fun. Last year, the Pumpkin King's plans were thwarted by a gang of cheeky Sugarcrooks, and this year old pumpkinhead is nowhere to be seen. But we're sure the witches in Sanctum and Pandaemonium can have nothing to do with that. And we're equally sure that they have only the best, most noble reasons for having you collect souls on their behalf.
